My goodness. I’m still struggling to get used to waking up at 6:15 instead of 9:00am. Oyyyy. :dead:
I figured out how those “sore throat” remedies, like Sucrets, work. They numb the area that’s sore, so you don’t feel as much pain. It doesn’t fix your soreness, it just masks it.
TV is awesome. What’s so strange that sometimes, I’ll watch a show that’ll have some sort of sad, slow ending and for the rest of the night, I’ll feel a bit sad and depressed. :sayblah: Does anybody else get that too? Lol.
A few more movie reviews to add. I haven’t been watching as many because I’ve been wrapped up with watching the old episodes of “The O.C.”
All movies are available on DVD

- 11:14
(2003) - At 11:14 pm, a bunch of things happen. However, all the craziness that happens are all accidents. There are five different story perspectives: driver, van of wild boys, father, boyfriend, and last, but not least, girlfriend. Interestingly enough, all are connected to one another through one link: the girlfriend. It’s definitely I enjoy because of how all the stories tie together to one moment in time, to one person, to one large story. - Vanity Fair
(2004) - Starring Reese Witherspoon. I don’t believe there are enough twists in this movie to keep it completely interesting. Reese’s character, Becky Sharp, is the only thing that keeps me watching because I love her wit and how she climbs the social ladder. Other than that, everything else and everybody else is uninteresting. Oh, one thing I did like about this movie: they hid Reese’s pregnancy through most of it. If you watch carefully, you’ll notice her belly here and there, when her character isn’t pregnant. The dresses she wears definitely help conceal her pregnancy. - But I’m a Cheerleader
(1999) - This movie definitely pokes fun at those who criticize homosexuality. This cheerleader, Megan, gets sent to a rehab home for those who are gay. The funny thing is, Megan doesn’t even realize that she’s gay until she goes through the program and truly understands her feelings. I recommend this movie to anyone who can stand a bit of comedy and a whole lot of homosexuality. Quite amusing.

I prefer the cough lollies that aapparently kill the bacteria… well… no… i don’t. the last ones i had were awful.
I get the thing with TV. Sometimes I watch shows like that because I need them to help me cry. They make me think, and I make myself relate to the character.
But I’m A Cheerleader is funny. i haven’t seen it for agesssss though.

Haha yes I get like that too. If I watch something sad or where people have relationship issues, then I’m mad at my bf for the rest of the day lol. Weird how we let fake stories affect us like that. I agree though, that meds don’t actually cure our ailments, they just hide them so we can go on with our lives while our bodies fight the germs.

I’m quite a TV series fan, too ( Lost, Alias, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, etc.), so I know what you mean. They can make you laugh and cry at once ^^
Unfortunately, I don’t know any of the movies. I wanted to watch 11:14 thought, it’s with Hilary Swank, right?

Ohh. I like The O.C.
Hmm. I get that TV thingy sometimes. Haha. Oh and yeah… sore throats… I’ve had that the past couple of weeks along with two good friends at school. It’s kinda fun because your voice gets all sexy. I love it. xD

Sore throats suck. I get them all the time.:sayblah: But some of those numbing sprays and those candies that numb can be really helpful if the sore throat’s bad enough! I get sad when I watch those TV shows with the sad endings too. Then it just stays. It’s sort of annoying.
I like your reviews! Although I haven’t heard of any of those movies. But 11:14 sounds really interesting.
