Sometimes, I feel better when someone else is doing something with me, something that I believe in. Why? It makes me feel as if I’m not the only one and that I have someone else there to support me. I was thinking about it when I went through the Day of Silence (previous post). I’m the only one on my floor that I know of that’s participating in this and I feel like everyone’s trying to break me down. When I did it last year in school, it wasn’t so bad because I knew my peers were doing it too. :blank:
The day went by okay I guess. I overslept (yet again) and didn’t get a chance to sell donuts. I guess, in a way, I made up for it by buying three. :ouch: :sayblah: I need to go to the gym again.

I guess it\’s human nature to not want to be alone
I\’ve been so used to that I don\’t even want to go to the movies alone now, heh.
It\’s cool you took part in the Day of Silence
even if no one else around you did. Props to you!

Your header photo is amazing. I haven’t overlsept in like AGES. I sure miss doing that. Haven’t been to the gym in a while either. Its a good thing when you are doing something you believe in and there are people to support you or also have the same thought. It lets you konw that you are not the only one thinking about it and etc. its a good feeling too.

It’s true that it is easier to participate in something when you have others taking part also. However, I think that regardless of whether someone’s doing it with you, if it’s really important, it’s worth doing on your own. Kudos to you for sticking with it.

yeah i totally understand about that, it’s true that having others that are doing the same thing makes it easier. but I hope it didn’t make you feel too bad, don’t let what others might think influence your true intentions! I’m actually going to a rally thing for the Day of Silence tomorrow =)
