Murder She Wrote

I don’t understand why people have to be so cruel. I know that it’s all part of the balance of life, but goodness. I happen to be on this subject because I was browsing through MySpace and I ran into two different tribute pages for two murdered people. One girl was raped, then strangled and the other guy was killed (stabbed?). Also, a few months back, a Floridan girl was killed by her soon-to-be-ex boyfriend (she was trying to break up with him).

So it makes me wonder: Why do people have to do this? Why do people feel the need to take someone’s life? I can understand if God does it because he has a plan and all, but who’s to say that somebody else, a mere mortal, has that right? Then there’s war, where your main objective is to either capture the territory or defend yourself and if that means to kill another man, then so be it. Don’t forget the cops who will shoot to defend themselves.

Murder is still murder no matter the purpose and intention. (That’s not to say I don’t understand why though.)

    I think its horrible =(
how can someone live with knowing they stopped another persons life.
    =(

http://www.mydeathspace.com is a bit gruesome/dark but its a listing of all the previous myspace users that are now dead.
Many of them have commited suicide but others were killed in an accident or murdered

I wish everything/everyone was at peace.
It may be “boring” at times but its better than the “excitement”?? of war, hate, death..

Oh god, I checked out that mydeathspace site and it really upset me. How do these people know that the MySpace member has died? It’s actually a sick site and I think it should be shut down.

    Hey!!
Ive got my end of year report on my site and my summer holidays have started today =) its going to be cool…

That Mydeathspace website, i found in the New Zealand Netguide magazine and it sounded strange so I went to the site and I find it quite disturbing that they advertise the deaths, its almost giving ideas to suicidal people who want to “die interestingly” and then be put on Mydeathspace.
    I think its horrid.

I agree w/ everyone who has commented thus far, a website that tells how people have died is horrible. However, as Maria said, dying is part of life, and perhaps by telling how other people have died, ie. the girl who was killed by her soon to be exboyfriend, then others can keep from experiencing the same fate. After all, what is the purpose of something happening if you or someone else doesn’t learn from it?

It’s really sad when people let their anger take over and end up taking someone’s life away. That’s just the most horrible power we as humans possess.

I don’t believe that there is any excuse for hurting another human being. I guess people do it now because humans have always done it. Sad as it is, it is an everday part of life. Its this world and how it runs, babies can’t be born planning to grow up cruel and heartless or to kill another human being. I guess its whaty you call animal instinct, but gone bad. The instinct to protect what and who you love, gone awol with the drive to kill and torture those same people.

I can’t say I support your god theory since I am not religious, but even if I was, I would not put that on him. People are just messed up.

That’s a very touchy subject, but I see your point. It’s very cruel, but I just really think in some cases that the person really just can’t control themselves and let natural instinct come over. We are naturally killers.

    Still, it’s wrong… I hate it.

i dont know… the world is going crazy every single day… murder… raping ect ect ect…
i do believe tehers the dark and the light side of human, like Yin and yang… and sometimes anger (as the dark side) can taking part all of our mind .. thats part of the reason people killed others…
