Why is so hard for me to do what’s right? Or what people ask me to do? I have a hard time, especially with my parents. They tell me to do one thing and I immediately want to the other. Maybe I still have my teenage genes in me; after all, my age is still in the teens. Roar. One month & one year until I’m out.

But back to the point… I just can’t seem to focus on what I need to do; I always feel as if I need to be doing something else. Maybe it’s procrastination, maybe it’s not. What do you think? Do any of y’all have the same problem? If so, how do you deal with it?

Here’s my thing on buying music: I don’t want to buy music downloads. I figure, if I’m going to download an album, I’d rather pay the same price (approx) and get the tangible thing, ya know? That way, if my computer crashes or something, I’ve still the original. So if I ever plan to buy music, I want the actual album, not downloaded songs.

———————————————————

As mentioned before, I can’t wait to start school. No, please don’t take this as excitement. Take this as a way to cure my boredom. :dead: Bah.

Life-wise, everything’s okay I suppose. Friends come and go, so I’m not surprised when I lose touch with some, but hey, what can you do? You can only do so much until you realize that your friend just doesn’t have time for you anymore. All you can do is cherish what you had and remember the good times.

I have the opposite problem of always being overly nice and feeling I have to do (nearly) everything that I’m told. It gets old…..

I hate not being friends with people anymore. There’s a girl I was good friends with in elementary/middle school who randomly moved away one summer. I’ve been thinking about how to get back in touch with her a lot lately :blank:

Well.. what really IS “right”? Because there are different definitions. One, that you do (like you said) what others/your parents tell you to do. The other, be true to yourself and do what YOU want to do. And if you’re doing what YOU want to do, then is that really so wrong? Don’t be too harsh on yourself.. I’ve been through a lot of this, too, especially this last year. And it’s not fun. So it’s best to come to terms with things :)

And, you already know me and procrastination. I’m horrible. The only time when I actually do work really hard is either when I get spurts of motivation, or, if it’s late at night and I know i HAVE to accomplish something before the next day. Haha.

With your music/CD thing - I agree. Having a CD is much better, if we’d be paying for it.

Hey! I love your layout, hehe. Ugh, I wish I was still on summer vacation, school’s been really hard lately, bah. You have a really good point about the downloading music. But you could always burn it on a CD or something, I duno. I preferr to buy the album but sometimes it’s more convinient to just get it from the computer. Lol.

That’s a tough decision and everyone has to make it for themselves. Me, personally, I don’t mind buying songs off of iTunes. If you look at it that way, it is a LOT cheaper , and you can always make backup CDS, I guess.

Blah! I just dropped out of my Philosophy: Ethics class. It’s really hard to tell what’s right and what’s wrong, but uh, just follow to what your heart & mind agrees on. I kinda went through the same thing with mi madre back in 2003-2004 remember? -=)

I’m feeling the same with the CD. I still want to own actual legitmate copies of Final Fantasy albums, just so I have them & show off my nerdism. Can’t really do that with mp3s can I? Lol. Well, it’s still nerdy but to an extent. -=)

As you get older, you realize that your friends (and perhaps yourself as well) are too busy with school, work, family, and stuff. These things come to their priority list more than hanging out and chilling and what not. You can still talk to them though, even if for 5 quick minutes -=). You can do that for me. You know my school schedule. ^_____^” (Take advantage of it before I find a job lol).

anywho, I [heart] you! -=)

Gah I know what you mean about not being able to focus. It’s part boredom and part stress I think. When there’s so much on your mind, it’s hard to focus on one thing. Plus, when you go back to school you won’t have to see your parents as often and so you’ll feel freer and happier.
