Plug
So my dear friend, Joana, is trying to win a contest for a soda maker. She talks about it in her blog and now needs help to win. Please head over to this site to help her win. Thanks!
—————————————————————————————–
Okay, I’ve had two memes I’d needed to do for a while and just remembered now.
I Am A Thinking Blogger
Thank you to Joana for first tagging me and Julie and Mari for tagging me later.

The rules of the meme:
1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme.
3. Optional: Proudly display the Thinking Blogger Award
Some of these bloggers will have already done the meme, but that’s okay with me.
1. Julie gets right to the point of her post. Although she doesn’t update regularly with tidbits of her life and instead clumps it together, it makes the whole picture make sense for those who don’t visit her blog regularly.
2. Mari offers interesting news bits and for those who have their own bubble, due to college or other factors, this helps them reconnect again with the real world and gives them conversation starts so we don’t look like ignorant bastards.
3. Joana does a great deal of posting, but never are they boring. Instead, they make you want to read the entire post, even if it’s long, all the way down to the bottom. She could be writing about something that may not be as interesting, especially if told by someone else, but Joana has a way of writing that keeps you locked in.
4. Vixx’s writing also keeps you locked in. From anecdotes about her son to her life on the job, it all makes you want to come back and see what else is occurring in this life of a British mother.
5. Bekka has cool photos. Oh and she rights impeccably well too. But for me, I mostly watch her for the photos and I have her to thank for this great photo at the top. I’ll admit though that I was first hooked in by her writing. The photos came in later.
Eight Little Facts
Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
1. Once I start cleaning up and organizing, I don’t stop until I am satisfied and it is done.
2. I am allergic to my cat’s flea collar.
3. Although I don’t want to, I notice that more and more, I am inheriting my parents’ habits, like being frugal and paranoid.
4. I have never owned a pet that required a lot of attention. The only thing I’ve ever had is a fish.
5. I enjoy reading books about vampires and the underworld, but I have yet to read Anne Rice’s Vampire series.
6. I am a girly girl and a tomboy mixed in one. I can do handy work around the house, belch, etc, but still want to shop, paint my nails, and wear pretty dresses.
7. I have anger control issues and I can get ticked off quite easily.
8. I used to watch Barney & Friends despite having denied it many many times as a child.
Since I don’t really enjoy tagging specific people, I just say whoever wants to do this meme (eight little facts, not thinking blogger), you can say that I tagged you for it.

Oh man… I find that hilarious, allergic to collar. lol.
OH. If you like vampire books, you should definetly read TWILIGHT by Stephenie Meyer. I know now everyone knows about it. But just for future references, I discovered it way back when it was new… not popular. lol. It’s a twist on vampires, although I don’t read much of it.
So yea…. find it! Poooop.

You forgot to mention that your boyfriend is better looking then theirs. You may sound like a bitch but anyone who has seen (or will see) your boyfriend will agree.

@Jade
Yeah… at first we thought I was allergic to the cat, but my boyfriend gave her a bath and never put the collar back on. From then, I noticed that I stopped sneezing.
I have read Twilight and the book after that, New Moon. I can’t wait for the next one!
@Stockton Boy
Hardy-har-har. You only wish I put that down.

Really, allergic to it? But not your cat? That’s something new.
You’re lucky your parents are frugal. That’s a good habit to inherit!
Didn’t we all watch Barney and just can’t admit it? Mari’s guilty pleasures were Barney and Power Rangers. Eheh…
And really, you’re too nice. Reading that made Mari realize that she’s got to post news everyday, not just be lazy and leave Sponsored Posts up with no alternative. Thanks for the kickstart, Maria! =D

Allergic to your cats collar?! That’s funny XD. Maybe you should try getting a new flea collar or something? I think it’s good that your parents are frugal. I’m like that too, actually :D.

Oh god I am the same way.
You’re not allergic to the cat, but you are to its flea collar? That is interesting. I used to be allergic to cats, but I’m not anymore.
I love anything that has to do with Vampires, and I do mean everything.
Nancy shouted:

I am just like that. Once I start cleaning I don’t stop until it’s done or I get it specifically the way that I am wanting it.
That sucks that you’re allergic to your cat’s flea collar.
Maria voiced:

@Mari
Yes, new indeed, but this way, I don’t have to call her a stupid kitty anymore for making me sneeze.
Being frugal has its ups and downs, especially when you need to explain it to someone else as to why you’re dragging the free furniture back to your place.
See, I admitted to watching Power Rangers… just not Barney.
You’re welcome and thank you for making me less ignorant.
@Melinda
I’m afraid to get a new collar now.
@Carrie Szczepanski
Yeah, I found that pretty interesting too.
Vampires are the shit.
@Nancy
Well, it’s better than being allergic to her, right?
Stockton Boy expressed:
Thursday, June 14, 2007 @ 5:20 pm GMT-8
I think that you should have. That is more interesting then being frugal.

Totally agree with the inheriting parents habits thing…I’m doing it too and it’s driving me crazy! haha
Maria voiced:

@Stockton Boy
Only because you think it’s more interesting.
@Eja
Yes, they would have teased me about that… thus my need to deny it.
@Melanie
Doesn’t that just suck? But, what can we do, you know?
Ashley replied:

Well, I’m with you on number 6 and 8. That’s weird about your cat’s flea collar. My cat hates collars. She’s spoiled though. She thinks she’s human.
Stockton Boy replied:

YES IT IS!!

I love all vampire things too - but also, have never read Anne Rice’s books. Just never felt the attraction to do so.
My cat doesn’t have a collar - flea or normal! She’s too pretty to have some chunky thing around her tiny neck!
Marie Claire remarked:

I enjoyed reading the facts. I used to watch Barney and friends too, it’s one of the best kid shows I’ve ever seen XD

Yea! Maria did her memes finally.
I’m becoming more frugal and paranoid with age as well. maybe it’s not that we’re paranoid and frugal so much as jaded or experienced?
Thank you for the plug honey! I’m falling behind though, looks like I’m probably gonna end up in second place.

I’m a girly girl and tomboy rolled into one, too. XD But I guess everyone is pretty much like that, having a little bit of the stereotypical male and female traits.
