The Right Moment

Have you ever wondered what life would have been like had you not been at a particular place at a particular time with a particular person/group? Or even when it’s the right moment to bring something up, either a good or bad topic? The thing is, how do you know when? How do you know when it’s the right time for everything to be out in the open, when it’s the perfect moment to tell the other person how you could possibly feel?

When do you make that first move? Is it the right move? Are you in the right place? What if you make it and it ruins everything you’ve worked for? How do you tell the other person? Do you just say it? Do you make a special occasion of it? Do you just wing it? What goes on in your head? The other person’s head?

Or perhaps the right moment will just come when it’s ready to come?

I say wing it. More fun that way. Don’t think. Do. Take it or leave it.

You never know if it’s the right moment or not. Things just happen as they do. We can’t see into the future to see what our results will be, but we act anyway cause otherwise, we’re not living, right? I guess that’s how we know it’s the right time, cause it’s now or never type of thing.

I think that life wouldn’t really matter if we were able to know if something was done at the right moment or not. Because then we’d be able to see into the future, and I don’t really know about anyone else, but I wouldn’t want to be able to do that. If I could, then you’d always remember what could have been…but then again, we do that anyways?! But I agree 100% with Julie when she said ‘I guess that’s how we know it’s the right time, cause it’s now or never type thing.’ Just live life one moment at a time, otherwise, you’re going to miss out on a lot!

Hmm, knowing when the moment is right… I’d say you have to be pretty analytical to know the person well enough to know what they’re feeling. But for most people who aren’t analytical, just wing it. There’s usually a 50 percent chance you’re right, so just count on your luck, I guess.

Well, I imagine that your life would be entirely different. Although I’m a subscriber to the thinking of “everything happens for a reason”, so I imagine that the way your life is is how it’s supposed to be. If that makes sense.

I think it’s pretty much impossible to know when it’s the right time to do or say something. You might think a moment is pretty much perfect, but a better one could come along at any point. Life would be pretty boring if anyone really knew the answers to all those questions. I agree with the first person who commented; just wing it :D

I don’t think you ever know exactly when it’s the right time or not. For the most part, I think everyone can tell when it’s a bad time to bring something up. I agree with the others - just wing it.

I think it’s impossible to know when it’s the right time or not. It’s kind of obvious to tell whether it’s a bad time to say something. But I agree with the others, just go for it.
