If you are ever looking for office chairs, check out Intercounty dot com. I don’t really have too much experience with office furniture anyway. For me, all I care about is how comfortable the chair looks and if I can be able to sit on it for hours without it hurting my ass. Right now, I have five chairs in my room: a task chair (simple, cushion back and butt, but no arm rests), a different task chair (cushion for bottom, mesh for back, arm rests), a reading chair from IKEA (curved, but big enough for me to put my feet up on), a left-behind loveseat (really old and raggedy green color), and lastly, a small IKEA chair (hard, uncomfortable when trying to read).
The last chair is actually a chair that I don’t sit on anymore; I use it to hold either my heater or my fan (depending on the current season). It’s really uncomfortable and I now have better chairs than that to sit on.
So a few months ago, I ended up doing a dramatic change and cut my hair. I donated what I could to Locks of Love since I have really great hair. So of course, I’m wondering which I look better with. I admit that both styles give me a different kind of look, but which fits me more? I have noticed that since I’ve cut the short hair, I get a lot less looks from the opposite sex. Maybe it’s a whole long haired Asian fetish thing that people have? But that’s a whole other topic for me to dive into at another point.

For me, music expresses how I feel at the time. Sometimes, if I’m listening to new music, it will help me get into the mood of the song. For the last day, I’ve been listening to Ashanti’s “The Way That I Love You” single and that’s really got me in a pretty depressing mood. It’s basically about how she finds her man cheating and well, the song really got me thinking about infidelity and the situation in which she sings reminds me of just a few months earlier.
Now, I know that I shouldn’t dwell on it, but sometimes I can’t.
Anyway, back to the point of the post, I really enjoy listening to music in order to convey my emotions. To me, certain music can really speak to me and touch me in a way that nothing else can. They take the words that I can’t form and make it into something beautiful, or they get me to think in a different light.
Music is a big part of how I am able to function and survive; what’s your relation to it?
You are breakfasty, like a pile of pancakes on a Sunday morning that have just the right amount of syrup, so every bite is sweet perfection and not a soppy mess. You are a glass of orange juice that’s cool, refreshing, and not overly pulpy. You are the time of day that’s just right for turning the pages of a newspaper, flipping through channels, or clicking around online to get a sense of how the world changed during the night. You don’t want to stumble sleepily through life, so you make a real effort to wake your brain up and get it thinking. You feel inspired to accomplish things (whether it’s checking something off your to-do list or changing the world), but there’s plenty of time for making things happen later in the day. Sometimes, there are a few bad credit loans.
