Sometimes, I wonder how companies get their business funding taken care of. I know that some get their money from investors, some from their own pockets, and some from IPOs, but how else can they get their funding? Sure, I probably won’t be starting my own business anytime soon, but these are questions that come up once in a while. I wonder, can you get money for employing yourself?

The store I currently work for is in definite need of marketing services. The student body has not really acknowledge the store’s existence and usefulness yet. I know that the manager is working with an undergraduate marketing group, but nothing has really hit the spot yet. I doubt we will ever resort to using marketing pens, but we still need to work on our marketing schemes.

My parents have owned their current TVs for years now. I think that my dad may be looking into getting plasmas or flat screen TVs, but I think that will take a while. They will have to buy themselves a tv wall mount if they do look into the whole plasma and flat screen thing. Then again, maybe the TV first, the wall mount second.

I am turning 21 this year and a friend of mine legally turns 21 on my birthday too. So she has decided that we are going to go to Vegas for our 21st birthdays. Well, see, my birthday is really my birthday but her birthday is really one month after mine. When she moved here from Vietnam as a baby, they messed up on her birthday and made her one month older than she really is.

Anyway, to the government, we are both turning 21 at the same time and she wants us to go Vegas. She says that she can hook us up with a Vegas hotel, so all I have to take care of is the plane ticket and the money. I can’t wait!
