It feels so long ago that I had gone to Europe. After meeting my new friend, MJ, I started to think back on it a lot since she, and lucky her, lives only four hours away from Paris.

I remember those days when I’d flip open the travel guide in the morning to see where my next destination was, or how to plan out my day so that I wouldn’t have to backtrack to every place.

Those days were really fun and I can only wish I had the means and the time to travel again.

A New Look (39)

19.06.08

Posted under: Site

After about six months, Boscardin finally got a new layout. It’s been sitting on my table for months, but I never got around to finishing it. This time, I started and I made sure to make everything work. However, because I am prone to miss things, do let me know if there’s a bug somewhere!

The image was taken by Kari L. The original picture is no longer available online, but he did take another snapshot that is similar to the one I used here. The new image is called “Passion.” He takes a lot of really great photos. It took me a while to find a nice red-colored picture that I liked. I know, I know. I’ve been obsessed with red, but it’s such a really good color!

New HaircutI suppose that in addition to Boscardin getting a new look (and also turning two years old as of two months ago), I ended up getting a new haircut as well. Okay, it’s a few weeks old, but to me, it’s still new and it’s the shortest I’ve ever had it since I was a kid. It’s a bit hard to see, but it’s an asymmetrical bob. I really like it and think it’s a good cut. It was a bit expensive, but sometimes, when you want a good cut, you have to pay for it, right?

There are a few more things that I want to fix up for the site, but that can take its time. Soon, I will writing small movie reviews and I’m proud of myself for being able to set up that category. For now, I have to make the posts for the old movies that I watched years ago, but I plan on writing reviews for all the new movies that I’ll be watching too.

Anyway, if you have any comments, suggestions, or anything, let me know! Otherwise, feel free to answer this question: Besides domestic animals (cats, dogs, hamsters, etc), what’s your favorite animal? (Yes, this can include fantasy animals)

Old Laptop (0)

I really wish that I could get a new laptop, but I know that it costs a lot of money and with my new financial aid offer letter, I really can’t spend or ask my parents to spend too much more. It’ll be too much of a hassle. One day though, I will get myself a new laptop so I don’t have to worry about doing another memory upgrade, about using USB 1.0 (yeah… I know), or about anything else. However, I would only get it under one of the two conditions: I can install Windows XP on the hard drive or Microsoft will come out with a much better OS than Vista.

Visting Branson (0)

If you’re planning on traveling across America, I hear that Branson, Missouri is definitely one of the many places to visit. Sure, Missouri is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but with Branson, it wouldn’t be that boring of a trip!

If you visit BransonGetaways.com, you’ll be able to find really good prices and packages for you.

For example, if you want to be able to explore the city yourself, you can purchase the Platinum package which includes:
- 3 Days/2 Nights
- 2 tickets to the Grand Country Jubilee
- $30 Red Lobster or Olive Garden Gift Card
- Coupon Book
- $50 Tanger Outlet Shopping Certificate

With the coupon book, you can take that as a way to find some new places and restaurants to visit. The other packages vary in price, depending on the number of nights and also the venues and shows you’d like to visit. I hear that the Silver Dollar City is the theme park to visit as well. Also, if you were a huge fan (or even an interested fan) of the movie The Titanic, check out the museum that has a replica of the ship, but scaled down to half its size.

Check out the website if you’re planning on doing some sightseeing, or if you’re just bored and need a place to visit that isn’t all about the fast paces, try Branson, Missouri… in the middle of nowhere.

Summer Season (0)

14.06.08

The summer is here and/or near approaching. What should you expect? Less clothes and of course, an increase in the purchase of diet pills. I’m all for the whole ‘less clothes’ thing because really, there are quite a few cute looking boys that I wouldn’t mind to see half naked. However, there are some that I really think should try to keep their clothes on. I’m all for the big woman, but said woman has to find the right clothes to flatter her figure. The same goes for the skinny ones too. But unfortunately, many, probably including myself, are clueless as to what works and what doesn’t.
