A Clean Desk

So about more than six months ago, I bought myself a second desk so that I would have more space to work. In the picture below, there are two desks. On the left is a small desk and one the right is a larger desk. I bought the left desk so that the right desk would be fit for a study table. Well, before tonight, it was completely cluttered. There was pretty much no space for me to work. I know that it may look cluttered still, but for me at least, that’s clean. I just have a lot of stuff okay?
And no, don’t have two computers. The tiny screen is the screen to my laptop and the huge screen is just a monitor that’s connected to my laptop. I have it set up so that the two screens connect. On one side, I can have all of my AIM and music stuff; on the other, I have the browsers and videos.
Yes, that is a Dancing Hamster. He danced to “Rapper’s Delight!” If I had a proper mic, I would think about uploading the sound bite, but just imagine a cute little hamster to that.
If you look closely near the bottom left, I have a basket and in that basket are all of my usual makeup items. I don’t have table space for them! And well, since I don’t ever sit into that area, it’s okay.
Alright, I should be studying. That’s why I cleaned up right?

When Fatty McChuckles was trying to win over Peg Leg, he took me with him to the mall to get her a birthday present. This was about six years ago…anyway, he bought one of those dancing hamsters that sang (past tense for a reason) Rapper’s Delight…and he bought her something else too, but she loved that hamster.
I am about to lose my desk to my sons…sigh. My husband got their computer up and running…
Bry-onicle is thrilled. He’s almost ten and I used to play Civilization ALL the time…so my husband is going to install it on their computer because he used to sit in our laps all the time when we would play each other. He’ll install it on his computer, too because I miss it and I don’t know if Civ IV (the last one I bought years ago) is compatible with Vista (which is what runs on my lap top).
What vitamins do you take?

I like your two desk and two monitor system. I’ve seen people use two monitors, and it just looks awesome. I don’t know how to hook that up, but that just must be so nice.

Gotta love those Dancing Hamsters. I think I can save myself some dignity by saying that my hamster was a gift.
The vitamins, if I took it, would be the fish oil pills. I had consistently taken the pills for about month or two because they’re known to help with the strengthening of the nails (among other things) and since I have weak nails, I took those. Surprisingly, they did work. My nails stopped chipping as often and stopped splitting into layers as well.

Actually using XP at least, it’s not all that hard to set up. You know when you right click on the desktop and click “Properties?” Well, there’s a tab in one of those that will allow you to do that by checking the box. It’s quite nice to have this system.
