Commercial Buildings

I have always wondered how much homes cost, but since I am not really in the commercial real estate business, I do not know. Or wait, is commercial real estate based on commercial buildings? I do not know for sure, but either way, I am clueless about both residential and commercial buildings. Is there a big difference between the two? As in, when you go to school, do you have to specialize? Oh well, not my area of expertise anyway.

    I think commercial real estate is more like apartment buildings and office buildings, investment type things. Not sure though.
