Some New Things

Okay, so I lied. I guess I can’t take a break from blogging after all. I can however, take a break from trying to keep up and return everything of mine. I know, I feel bad, but after March, I should have a lot more free time.
Anyway, I was talking to my doctor today (which, by the way, is still Monday for me until I go to sleep) and he noticed that I have a lot of impulsive tendencies. So much, in fact, that it kind of takes over my life.
I had a… disappointing date on Friday night. For the most part, it was enjoyable up until we had to part ways. See, I went thinking that he was finally going to make that move, but when he didn’t, that’s what disappointed me. My doctor said that perhaps he felt weird because my behavior towards him may have been a bit bizarre and confusing. See, we hadn’t spoken to each other in about two months and he was under the pretense that I was angry at him. So out of the blue, I send him a nice “Hi, how are you doing” text message and then showing up looking absolutely awesome for a date, I suppose that would confuse anybody else, right?
Anyway, that’s just one instance, but I notice that even with my shopping habits, they’re pretty impulsive.
But that’s just one thing for now. Another update is that I found a perfect dress. I’ve been trying to find a nice dress to wear to my cousin’s wedding in May and I haven’t really found anything that “wowwed” me. Until… today. I put it on and the second I did, it was just… amazing. Sure, there is another dress what I wanted but since it didn’t come in the color and size I wanted, I wasn’t too happy with the alternative. But the moment I put this one on and looked in the mirror, I surprised myself.
I know, I should have pictures, but pictures will come later as soon as I find the perfect shoes to go with this perfect dress.
Alright, it’s 2:30 in the morning for me. I’ll head to bed now.

Sometimes a little impulsiveness can be a good thing if you don’t let it control your entire life…but then again the exact opposite can also be true.
I guess that I’m the exact opposite since I overanalyze places or situations. But I’m glad that you are going to blog again. Yay!

Sometimes being impulsive is ok, especially with a dress you love. As for the boy, if he’s like most men, it shouldn’t matter if you haven’t talked in forever, he should still want you. I think you should blog if you have something to say, taking a break is only hard because you have so much on your mind. Though I do miss your comments and I’ll be happier when you’re off that break

The dress sounds gorgeous and I can’t wait to see pictures of it — you PROMISED!
As for the guy not making a move, well, sometimes anticipation is good foreplay, so just let nature take it’s course. He’ll come around.

You deserve a break.
He might have been a little weirded out, and if so, that’s definitely why he didn’t do anything. However, if you go on a few more dates, he’ll probably feel much more comfortable about it.
I shop on impulse, too. Online, mostly. In actual stores, I can keep it in check, and usually only get what I need, but online, things just seem all too easy to buy randomly.
Oh, congrats on finally finding a dress for your cousin’s wedding. It’s hard to find a nice dress sometimes.

Women are impulsive (not always and it isn’t always a bad thing). I think that some doctors (not saying yours because I don’t know) are too quick to label someone with any sort of mental irregularity based off of a few instances. No one is perfect. If it was, everyone would be boring.

Hello. I too am impulsive (especially with shopping) I cannot count the number of things in my closet that I don’t wear :S A dream dress… I have yet to find one my size, in my price range… maybe it will happen soon

If he thought you were angry at him, he must have been very careful not to upset you again in any way which may be why he didn’t make the move.

I’m not an impulsive shopper, not all the time anyway. There are some moments when I do and then I go kinda crazy with my money, which comes to bite me in the butt later.
But, yay for finding the perfect dress.
