I’m not a wine fanatic or anything, but I have known a few people that either enjoy it or are fanatics. Maybe they have a few Wine Racks at home, maybe they don’t. Wine actually reminds me of a Las Vegas episode from Season 4. In it, a wine expert is hired to help make the hotel seem like a classier place, considering how it’s located in Las Vegas of course.

Anyway, with the wine expert, of course, there is a really valuable and rare wine stored in the cellar. A Montrachet, I believe the name was. So there are a total of three bottles, if I remember correctly, and the first bottle is accidentally knocked over by Danny and Mike. Ed, of course, is furious because it’s really expensive. The other two get sold to a Chinese business man for at least $100 grand. They open one bottle in front of all the cameras and people in order to have a drink. Ed, who’s not too much of a wine expert, thinks it’s the real deal. The Chinese man, however, feels disappointed, but is reassured by the wine expert, who lies, that it is in fact, the real Montrachet. Considering that it’s the show, the two bottles are fakes and the episode revolves around finding it. Eventually they do and in the Chinese man’s generosity, he decides to give a bottle to Ed. Ed is happy as all hell because he finally gets to taste the real deal, except in the wine expert’s clumsy bump into Ed, the bottle slips from Ed’s hands and shatters.

Yes, the wine expert was fired. I know, I spoiled the episode, but the real fun parts is how they figure out who stole the wine and how they get it back, no?
