Government Jobs

My mother has been pushing me to get a stupid job in government because she says that there is stability and good benefits through that. But until I get a better idea of what I want to do, I don’t want to commit myself to the government or jobs in administration- I want to do something more meaningful and more beneficial for my community and I feel that if I were to work in a non-profit job, I can get a lot more done for my community.
