So I was tagged to do a facts meme one year ago, but I suppose I can do it again. Besides, that list needs a little updating anyway. For example, I’m not allergic to the collar; I’m actually allergic to the cat.
This time, I was tagged twice. Once from Reggy and her list, and the second from Michael and his seven facts.
Well, here goes!
- I love shoes and buying shoes. However, I have flat and wide feet, so it’s hard to find ones that I like.
- Some of you may know that I’ve been obsessed with red, but you may not know that this was a relatively recent development. This whole red phase began about a year ago.
- The only plant I’ve been able to keep alive is the bamboo plant.
- My family is the most important thing in my life.
- I prefer to have more guy friends than girls, but really, I just want girl friends that I know won’t cause me any trouble or drama. I envy those who have their “best friend” with them almost all the time.
- Once I get married, the word “divorce” will no longer exist in my vocabulary. I’ll be married for life until death do us part.
- My children will carry the middle names my father’s side of the family carries.
And those are my seven. The game of the meme is simple: 7 facts about you, then tag 7 people. This time, I’m going to tag: Chris, Julie, Joana, Marie, Gary, Michael A., and Mike. Some of you may have done previously, but if it wasn’t within the last few weeks, then I think y’all should do it again.
Have fun!
The idea of this is to take 12 photos on the 12th of each month. The original idea came from Chad and I was persuaded into participating by Mike.

Poor thing; the flowers are starting to die. Too bad I’m such a night owl or else I’d try to leave it out in the sun a little more.

I was so tired in my morning aerobic conditioning class that I finally finished the whole bottle of water!

On my way back from class, I decided to buy some really fun postcards. Now all I need is someone to send them too… *hint hint - if I don’t already have your address, then maybe you should give it to me* (for privacy, send me an email: maria@boscardin.org)

After a long hot shower, I decided to put on a face mask that helps get rid of the dirt in my pores. It’s so much fun to put on! I feel as if I’m being molded.

I had a few things to purchase, so I gave Sephora a call and used my sister’s gift cards (which, of course, I’ll have to pay her back for). I love that store so much; it’s my candy store!

My room was in much need of a cleaning, as you can see by my entire bag and box of recycling items.

Finally finished Paolo Coehlo’s Veronika Decides To Die book. It was really good as I had already read The Alchemist and Eleven Minutes by him. Next on my list is By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept.

What better snack to have than some Veronas? Well, any Pepperidge Farm snacks will do really. They’re all so yummy!

Now that they’ve finally released the official release date, I pledged to download Firefox 3 on June 17, 2008.

I love getting visitors at work! Fonz (middle one) stopped by to say hello and I missed him so much since I haven’t spent time with him since February. I saw E (right one) over the weekend too. God, I love these guys.

That’s when I finally got off of work! They kept me quite busy with all the stickers and whatnot. The plus side is that the cute Argentinian boy came in.

Last, but not least, my keys. Actually, you can’t even see the keys; you just see the keychain. Yes, all that red is part of one chain.
Anyway, this was fun, though I admit the keys were really a filler since I couldn’t think of one last photo to take. Maybe next month, you can participate too!
I got tagged by Joana and Julie for this one. You’re supposed to copy the entire list of months, but I don’t want the clutter, so I’ll just lead you to a post that has all the other months you’ll need.
Guidelines:
- Mention the person who tagged you and create a link back to them.
- Copy-paste the traits for all the twelve months (see below).
- Pick your month of birth (see below).
- Highlight the traits that apply to you.
- Tag 12 people and let them know by visiting their blogs and leaving a comment for them.
- Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve done it!
As for tagging, well, how about I tag the first twelve people (who haven’t done this yet) that comment on this blog? I would choose people, but most of them have already been tagged.

I’m not ready to sleep at the moment (yes, it is almost four in the morning) so I thought I’d do some memes since I can’t think of anything else I feel like doing at the moment.
Monday’s A Bitch
Q: Do you have any recurring nightmares?
A: No, but I have disturbing ones.
Q: When was the last time you screamed in horror?
A: I don’t remember because I do it so often.
Q: What was the most bizarre thing you ever got while trick-or-treating?
A: It’s been too long ago for me to remember.
Q: What do you consider to be the most over-used costume?
A: Anything with wings and anything that requires very little clothing.
Q: What costume could someone wear that would be a turn-on for you?
A: I don’t need a costume to be turned on (and no, I’m not implying nudity).
Manic Monday
Q: If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be and why?
A: I wish that my parents were more able to explain to me that they did what they did because they loved me.
Q: Do you think that the world will be a better or a worse place 100 years from now?
A: I think that new problems will arise that will neither make it a better nor worse place.
Q: At the beginning of a relationship, do you trust your new partner unless there is something specific to make you do otherwise, or do you withhold your trust until he/she has earned it?
A: I have enough trust to start with and from there, it grows.

Plug
So my dear friend, Joana, is trying to win a contest for a soda maker. She talks about it in her blog and now needs help to win. Please head over to this site to help her win. Thanks!
—————————————————————————————–
Okay, I’ve had two memes I’d needed to do for a while and just remembered now.
I Am A Thinking Blogger
Thank you to Joana for first tagging me and Julie and Mari for tagging me later.
The rules of the meme:
1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme.
3. Optional: Proudly display the Thinking Blogger Award
Some of these bloggers will have already done the meme, but that’s okay with me.
1. Julie gets right to the point of her post. Although she doesn’t update regularly with tidbits of her life and instead clumps it together, it makes the whole picture make sense for those who don’t visit her blog regularly.
2. Mari offers interesting news bits and for those who have their own bubble, due to college or other factors, this helps them reconnect again with the real world and gives them conversation starts so we don’t look like ignorant bastards.
3. Joana does a great deal of posting, but never are they boring. Instead, they make you want to read the entire post, even if it’s long, all the way down to the bottom. She could be writing about something that may not be as interesting, especially if told by someone else, but Joana has a way of writing that keeps you locked in.
4. Vixx’s writing also keeps you locked in. From anecdotes about her son to her life on the job, it all makes you want to come back and see what else is occurring in this life of a British mother.
5. Bekka has cool photos. Oh and she rights impeccably well too. But for me, I mostly watch her for the photos and I have her to thank for this great photo at the top. I’ll admit though that I was first hooked in by her writing. The photos came in later.
Eight Little Facts
Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
1. Once I start cleaning up and organizing, I don’t stop until I am satisfied and it is done.
2. I am allergic to my cat’s flea collar.
3. Although I don’t want to, I notice that more and more, I am inheriting my parents’ habits, like being frugal and paranoid.
4. I have never owned a pet that required a lot of attention. The only thing I’ve ever had is a fish.
5. I enjoy reading books about vampires and the underworld, but I have yet to read Anne Rice’s Vampire series.
6. I am a girly girl and a tomboy mixed in one. I can do handy work around the house, belch, etc, but still want to shop, paint my nails, and wear pretty dresses.
7. I have anger control issues and I can get ticked off quite easily.
8. I used to watch Barney & Friends despite having denied it many many times as a child.
Since I don’t really enjoy tagging specific people, I just say whoever wants to do this meme (eight little facts, not thinking blogger), you can say that I tagged you for it.
