I think it’s way too early to think about Christmas, Thanksgiving, and holiday appetizers. Seriously! It’s barely October and people are already rolling out with all of these things, it’s crazy, but hey, whatever runs the economy, right? I’m just waiting for Black Friday this year in order for me to take care of my Christmas shopping. Hopefully I can find something good for the Boyfriend as well.

I remember there was this time not too long ago that my dad and brother were into toys, especially rc helicopters. They would research online to figure out what to buy and how to fly them. They spent a lot of time together and a part of me has always been jealous of that, but it’s okay. They had fun together and that’s what matters.

Today is a really hectic day and personally, I don’t even have time to think about diet supplements. Then again, I’m getting braces soon and I hear those can work as a dieting trick too since my mouth will hurt so much that I won’t want to eat, or be able to eat normally anyway. It also limits my food groups since I can’t chew on hard things or on sticky things.

I remember watching The O.C. and Julie was trying to fund for her daughter’s pony medical expenses. It was a little crazy, but at the same time, got me thinking. It’s so stereotypical for little girls to want ponies and horses, but who pays for them? Who gets all of the horse supplies and has all of the time to take care of one? Definitely not the parents because if they can afford it, then they must be working hard for it.

I never really understood why certain things get more research than other things. For example, we have to actually RAISE money for the cures that we need such as cancer or AIDS, whereas the things that we don’t need, such as Viagra or weight loss pills, they don’t ever need to go through all the publicity for funding. Why? Because people know that other people are going to buy the product and the sales will fund the “research.”
