I Am 10:02 (4)

You are breakfasty, like a pile of pancakes on a Sunday morning that have just the right amount of syrup, so every bite is sweet perfection and not a soppy mess. You are a glass of orange juice that’s cool, refreshing, and not overly pulpy. You are the time of day that’s just right for turning the pages of a newspaper, flipping through channels, or clicking around online to get a sense of how the world changed during the night. You don’t want to stumble sleepily through life, so you make a real effort to wake your brain up and get it thinking. You feel inspired to accomplish things (whether it’s checking something off your to-do list or changing the world), but there’s plenty of time for making things happen later in the day. First, pancakes.

That sounds… lovely, doesn’t? Here’s the image that goes with it:

10:02am

It’s such a random time, isn’t it? But that’s what the quiz says I am and of course, we all know that these quizzes are boss.

If you’re feeling fun, here’s the link:

So, I stole this from Leon because I thought the questions were quite interesting.

1. At what age do you wish to marry?
When the time is right. There is no minimum or maximum age. For me, marriage is going to be forever. Once I get married, the word ‘divorce’ does not exist, so whoever it is I marry, I need to be sure that he understands that and that he really is the one I will spend the rest of my life with and by putting an age at which I must marry, it rushes things. Go with the flow of life.

2. What colour do you like most?
Red. It’s usually blue and pink, but lately, I’ve gone completely red. And no, I’m not a communist.

3. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
Somewhere deep in the woods for a few days.

4. Which part of you do you hate the most?
I dislike my self-esteem. It gets in the way of a lot of things and well, it would be better if I had a much higher self-esteem.

5. When you encounter a sad moment, what do you do?
I drown my sorrows in sad music, sing my heart out, and cry.

6. What are you afraid to lose the most?
My family. They are the only ones who will stand by me, the only ones that I know I can always fall back on because they love me and care for me. Friends can come and go and although I may appreciate them, I know that the normal possibility of losing them is much higher than the possibility of losing my family, so to me, my family means a lot.

7. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
I’d pay off my loans and credit card bills, then give some to my dad so he can invest for me.

8. How did you celebrate the New Year?
I had a drunk date at a party where the cops came fifteen minutes before the new year. Then I had to convince said drunk date that he could not drive me home and I hopped into a cab.

9. Til now, what is the moment that you regret the most?
I don’t think I have a specific moment that I regret the most; I have little regrets, but in the end, I know that it’s these experiences that help me to become the person that I am. Without them, it would be one less piece of knowledge and of wisdom.

10. Which type of person do you hate the most?
I dislike the ones that are completely ungrateful and can’t appreciate nor see that there’s a much better side to everything.

11. What is your ambition?
I want to give back to the community. I want to go to bed at night knowing that I did something good today.

12. If you had one wish what would you wish for?
That no matter what happens to me, my friends, family, and loved ones will always be safe, warm, healthy, and forever happy.

13. Name one of your body parts your significant other tells you s/he adores:
Well, it used to be the hair until I cut it off, but now… I don’t know. First off, there is no significant other, so I’m just going off on things that people have told me. I’ve been complemented on my hair (when it was long), my legs, my nails… and I think that’s it. It’s usually the hair that I get complements on since it was long, dark, and fine. It was good hair.

14. What is the best gift you can give someone this year?
I don’t know; the gift of happiness perhaps?

15. What do you need to do this year in order for you to be happier in life?
I need to figure out where I want to and need to be in life in terms of my future career and my future studies. I also need to mend my broken heart.

16. What would your alter-ego be like?
She would be confident, outgoing, a social butterfly, and assertive.

17. What was the best lesson you learned in 2007 (be specific)?
Keep your mouth shut.

18. In this very moment, are you doing what you thought you’d be doing at this stage in your life?
In the words of Leon, “No. Is anyone?”

19. If you knew tomorrow was the final day of existence, what would you do today?
At first, I was going to answer this as if it were my last day of existence, but reading the question over again, it’s more of a entire world existence. With that in mind, I would probably kiss all the cute ones and the ones that I’ve always wanted to kiss. It’s either that, or just hole myself up in a mountain/hill somewhere and watch the world end. I almost want to bring a camera, but since that would be obliterated too, no point, right?

20. If you could do over any moment or decision in your life, what would it be?
August and September of 2007.

21. If you wanted people to say one thing about you at your funeral, what would that one thing be?
That I made a difference, a good difference, a positive difference, in someone’s life.

22. What is your most treasured childhood memory?
Being able to hang out with my friends easily since they lived down the street.

Here’s the rule: Remove 1 question from below, and add in your personal question, make it a total of 20 (it somehow became 22) questions, then tag 8-10 people in your list, list them out at the end of this post. Notify them in their chat box that he/she has been tagged.

And I tag…

Y’all have fun now!

Domain Tagging (4)

30.01.08

Posted under: Blog365

Rule #1: Copy all the links below and replace a single link under the appropriate letter of the alphabet. If your domain name, or even the title of your blog, starts with an “A,: you’d replace the link under that letter “A” and put the replaced link at the bottom. Also, don’t forget to credit the tagger, or where you got the list from, at the end of the list with a full URL of the post so that a pingback gets generated.

Rule #2: You now have to “tag” at least five people and encourage them to participate. Remember, though, that not everyone’s into these kinds of things, so don’t be upset if they don’t participate. Just simply replace your tag. Remember to tag blogs only and no pornographic ones as we do want to keep the integrity as a blogging community.

I Got Tagged (9)

like an uberly fat pig trying to run from the butcher.

Okay, so it wasn’t that bad, but it was random. I was tagged by Jacob.

  • Link to the person who tagged you.
  • Leave a comment on their blog so that their readers can visit yours.
  • Post the rules on your blog.
  • Share the seven (7) most famous or infamous people you have met. Or go with the original 7 weird things about yourself.
  • Tag 7 random people at the end of your post.
  • Include links to their blogs.
  • Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Well, since I haven’t met any famous nor infamous person, I’ll go with the seven original weird things about me.

  1. I absolutely love the Spice Girls and currently have two incredibly large posters on my wall from their recent concert.
  2. I don’t mind peeing on the phone if it’s with someone I’m comfortable enough to do so with. Crapping on the phone is out of the question.
  3. I love mugs. I don’t drink enough coffee or any drink that belongs in a mug enough, but I love them. I currently have about 10 or so mugs.
  4. I “collect” books I want to read, but never get around to reading them.
  5. I own a Dancing Hamster that sings and dances to “Rapper’s Delight.” (Okay, that was a gift, but I just recently took it out of the keepsake box and brought it back to my college town.)
  6. I have an ear picker to get all the wax. I used Q-tips too, but sometimes it’s fun to dig. I enjoy digging others’ ears sometimes too.
  7. When going down stairs, I can’t always go down them slowly; I have to either run or fly down them.

Okay, so seven random people, right? Let’s go to Blog365 and find those people! (I’m going to choose every third new post that is in the Megafeed)

  1. KamenLee.com
  2. Sarcastic and Single
  3. Inchoate
  4. NicoleB
  5. Sally @ NZE Blogs
  6. Pandora’s Box
  7. Lord, I Believe

Have fun y’all!

I think that a lot of my posts for the Blog 365 are going to be memes. But hey, at least it’s blogging, right?

Today’s meme comes from That’s My Answer!

It’s Appreciation Wednesday. Who and/or what do you appreciate today?

I appreciate knowing that there is someone who waited a year and a half for me. It makes me feel a little more special and nowadays, that’s something that I need.

I just hope that nothing catastrophic happens between us. I want to take it slow and he will definitely know that. I don’t want him to be the rebound guy at all and I seriously don’t want him to feel that way either.
